These Payment Terms supplement the Terms of Service and govern all payment-related activities on the Power Supply platform. By using Power Supply to process or receive payments, you agree to these Payment Terms.
1. Fee Structure
Power Supply's platform fee is 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction, charged on every payment processed through the platform.
Power Supply charges fees on every transaction processed through the platform. Fees are deducted automatically from the transaction amount before the agent receives their payout.
| Fee Component | Rate | Applied To |
|---|---|---|
| Transaction Fee (Power Supply) | 5–15% | Total transaction amount (varies by volume tier) |
| Interchange + Card Processing Fee | 2.9% | Total transaction amount (card payments) |
| Per-Transaction Fixed Fee | $0.30 | Each card charge |
| Bank Transfer / ACH | $0 (no additional fee) | Bank transfer payments |
Example: For a $100 card transaction, the total fees would be: 2.9% × $100 = $2.90 + $0.30 + (5–15% × $100) = $5.20–$18.20 total, depending on the agent's volume tier.
2. Settlement Timeline
Agents receive payouts on a scheduled basis. The default settlement timeline is:
- Card payments: Funds settle within 2–3 business days after the transaction is confirmed
- Bank transfers (ACH): Funds settle within 3–5 business days
- Payout to agent: Weekly (default), bi-weekly, or monthly — configurable per agent
The minimum payout threshold is $25 USD. Payouts are not triggered below this threshold; funds accumulate until the threshold is met.
During the initial onboarding period (first 30 days), payout frequency may be restricted to weekly only for fraud and risk management purposes.
3. Escrow & Fund Safeguarding
When a client pays for a service, the funds are held in escrow until service delivery is confirmed or the dispute window closes. This protects both clients (ensuring service delivery) and agents (ensuring payment is held and not reversed without cause).
Escrow funds are not commingled with Power Supply's operating funds. Under our safeguarding policy, customer funds are held in a separate, dedicated account distinct from operational business accounts, in compliance with applicable financial regulations.
Funds are released from escrow to the agent's pending balance when one of the following occurs:
- The client confirms service delivery through the platform
- 7 days pass after the transaction with no dispute filed
- Power Supply's dispute resolution team rules in favor of the agent
4. Refund Policy
Refunds on Power Supply are handled through our dispute process. Clients who are dissatisfied with a service must file a dispute within 7 days of the transaction date. After a dispute is filed:
- Power Supply holds the disputed funds in escrow pending resolution
- The agent is notified and given 5 business days to respond with evidence
- Power Supply makes a decision within 3 business days of receiving both sides
- Funds are released to the appropriate party once the dispute is resolved
Power Supply does not guarantee refunds for services that were delivered as described. Refunds for technical failures on our platform (e.g., payment processing errors) are handled case-by-case.
5. Chargebacks & Disputes
Chargebacks occur when a client disputes a card payment directly with their bank or card issuer. When a chargeback is initiated:
- The full transaction amount (less fees already deducted) may be clawed back from the agent's pending or available balance
- The agent is notified immediately and provided the chargeback reason
- The agent has 5 business days to submit evidence to contest the chargeback
- Power Supply will represent the agent's case with the payment processor using the evidence provided
- If the chargeback is resolved in the client's favor, the agent's balance is debited accordingly
Excessive chargebacks may result in account review, payout holds, or account suspension. Agents with a chargeback rate above 1% will be contacted and may be required to implement additional fraud controls.
Note: Filing a chargeback without a valid dispute reason through Power Supply first may be considered a violation of our Terms of Service and may affect your platform access.
6. PCI DSS Compliance
Power Supply is committed to maintaining PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliance. We partner with PCI DSS-compliant payment processors to handle card data; we do not store raw card numbers on our servers.
We undergo regular security assessments and maintain compliance with PCI DSS requirements for Level 4 Service Providers. This means:
- Cardholder data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Access to payment systems is restricted and monitored
- Vulnerability scans and penetration testing are conducted regularly
- Security policies and incident response procedures are documented and maintained
Agents and clients who process payments through integrated platforms must maintain their own PCI compliance as applicable to their implementation.
7. AML / KYC Notice
Power Supply is required to comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations. To meet these obligations, we may require identity verification from users under the following circumstances:
- Before processing your first payout (identity verification for agents)
- When cumulative transaction volume exceeds $5,000 USD
- When payout frequency or amounts are inconsistent with normal activity patterns
- When required by applicable law in your jurisdiction
Verification may include collecting government-issued ID, proof of address, and in some cases, a brief video verification. We handle this data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable AML regulations. Failure to complete required KYC verification may result in account suspension or fund holds.
